NPFL: Warri Wolves Urged To Bounce Back From Rangers Defeat

The Delta State Government has urged NPFL side Warri Wolves to put their 1-0 defeat to Rangers behind them and focus on their next fixture.

The Seasiders suffered the rescheduled Week Two defeat against Rangers at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro.

Delta State Commissioner for Sports, Onoriode Oborevwori, gave the charge after the match, urging the players to remain positive despite the disappointing result.

Oborevwori also blamed poor officiating for Warri Wolves’ defeat, but called on the team to quickly move on from the result.

“Please put the game behind you and focus on the next game against Doma United,” Oborevwori told the team.

He also expressed confidence in the players and encouraged them to regroup ahead of their next league assignment.

“I believe in you guys. Your next match, I know you can do it. Let’s go and get the big three points,” he added.
