Patrick Vieira Set To Land New Coaching Job

Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira is set to be appointed as the new head coach of the Senegal national team.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Vieira has reached an agreement with the Senegalese Football Federation and is expected to take charge of the team with immediate effect.

The former France international had recently been in talks with the federation over the vacant position.

Vieira will replace Pape Thiaw as the head coach of the Teranga Lions.

The 50-year-old has previous managerial experience with several European clubs, including Strasbourg, Nice and Genoa.

The appointment will see Vieira take on a new challenge at international level as he prepares to lead Senegal’s national team.
