Popular Nigerian streamer, Peller, has proposed to his lover, Jarvis, amid ongoing pregnancy rumours surrounding the couple.

The engagement reportedly took place in Ghana on Wednesday night.

Sharing a video of the proposal on Instagram on Thursday, Peller confirmed that Jarvis accepted his proposal and hinted that wedding plans are already underway.

He wrote, “Forever starts now. She said YES, my safe place, and my greatest blessing. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and making memories together. Now excuse us… we have a wedding to plan.”

The engagement comes just weeks after Peller sparked speculation about a possible pregnancy when he revealed that he and Jarvis were expecting a child.

At the time, he said, “My baby with Jarvis is coming soon.”

The rumours gained more attention after a video showing Jarvis undergoing an ultrasound scan surfaced on social media last month.

Neither Peller nor Jarvis has officially confirmed the pregnancy rumours, but the engagement announcement has continued to generate reactions from fans and followers online.

My Ex-Record Label Boss Forged My Signature, Stole My Money – Qing Madi Alleges

Published

on

Afrobeats singer Qing Madi has accused her former record label boss, Joy Tongo, who is the CEO of JTon Music, of forging her signature and stealing from her.

The “American Love” singer made the allegation while also claiming that her former label is trying to sabotage her music career. She said this followed the removal of several songs from her new album “Barely Legal” from streaming platforms due to an alleged contract breach.

Speaking during a recent TikTok livestream, Qing Madi claimed that the label is still finding ways to frustrate her career after she reportedly won a $2 million lawsuit against them in court.

She said, “She [Joy Tongo] stole from me, did a bunch of weird things like forging my signature. She sued me for $2M & she lost the case. She took down ‘Pepper Me’, I worked with my team to prove it’s an illegal takedown. They went through the corners again to take down the project.”

The singer also called on fans to support her, saying she is tired of the ongoing dispute with her former label.

However, Joy Tongo has denied all the allegations, describing them as false claims.

She insisted that Qing Madi did not win any case, saying the matter is still in court. According to her, the ongoing injunction is what allows the label to take down songs or projects legally.

She said, “Also, the injunction is ruling is why we can issue a legal takedown now, what case have you won? Because last time I checked the case still hasn’t gone to trial.”

Nigerian singer Magixx has shared his views on splitting bills in relationships and marriages, making it clear that he does not support the idea of partners sharing expenses equally.

According to the singer, men should take responsibility for paying the bills in a relationship, regardless of how the relationship started.

Speaking in a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos, the “Love Don’t Cost A Dime” crooner said he believes a man should provide financially even if the woman was the one who made the first move and asked him out.

He said, “I don’t believe in 50/50. I believe a man should pay the bills even if it is the woman who asked him out.”

However, Magixx admitted that his opinion might have been different if he were not financially successful.

The singer acknowledged that his current position on the issue could be influenced by his wealth, adding that he is not sure whether he would still hold the same view if he was not rich.

She made the comments on a recent episode of The Echo Room Podcast, where she openly shared her views on identity, gender expectations, and how she values money in her life.

During the conversation, Ms Jorji said, “I love being called a whore. Ashwo. I’m presidential with it. I’m presidential ashwo. Make sure election day, vote president. Na me be that.”

She responded, “It is.”

When challenged further, the host added, “But that doesn’t sound right,” and she replied, “How does it not sound right? But it’s ok for men?”

The host countered, “Nobody says it’s okay for men. But I’m saying for women, is it good?”

Ms Jorji also rejected traditional expectations placed on women, saying, “I’m not a good woman. I think my life and my choices let me know that I wasn’t built to be a good woman. I was built to be what I am, a bad woman. A bad woman, Horrible, Evil.”
