EPL: Saha Picks Title Favourites After Arsenal Lose, Man City Win

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has claimed that Manchester City are now the “strongest” team in the Premier League title race.

Saha made the comments during an appearance on Sky Sports following a weekend in which Arsenal suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brighton.

Manchester City then secured a 5-3 victory over Sunderland in an eight-goal thriller at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, moving three points clear ahead of the international break.

According to Saha, Arsenal’s heavy defeat could have affected the momentum in the Premier League title race.

“I think everyone can say that Arsenal had the best momentum even if they lost it towards the end [of last season].

“I think now City understood their mistakes, even if they still have young players coming through, they have this experience.

“The combination of strength and creativity is enormous in midfield so I do think they are the strongest one,” Saha said.
