Presley Gerber, Son Of Cindy Crawford, Dies At 27

Presley Gerber, model and only son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, has died at the age of 27, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Details surrounding his death remain limited. According to the medical examiner’s website, Gerber died on Sunday at a rehabilitation centre.

An autopsy has not yet been completed, and his cause and manner of death remain unknown.

A spokeswoman for Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber, told TMZ that the family is requesting privacy as they mourn his death.

“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the spokeswoman said.

Like his mother, Presley Gerber worked as a model. In January 2019, he was arrested for driving under the influence after being stopped while driving a Tesla in Beverly Hills at about 4 a.m.

He was later sentenced to three years’ probation, DUI treatment and two days of community service, according to TMZ.

In an August 11 interview with Vogue, his younger sister, actress Kaia Gerber, spoke about her brother’s long struggle with personal difficulties.

“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” she said, explaining that the experience influenced her to avoid seeking help because she felt there were already two children in the family who needed support.

Kaia had previously expressed pride in her brother after he publicly discussed his struggles in an Instagram video in December.

Presley Gerber is survived by his mother, father and younger sister.
