Real Madrid Told To Sell Vinicius Over Unsuccessful Partnership With Mbappe
Former France international Marcel Desailly has urged Real Madrid to sell Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr over his unsuccessful partnership with teammate Kylian Mbappe.
Desailly believes the combination of Vinicius and Mbappe has not delivered the expected results since playing together at the Spanish club.
Speaking on beIN Sports, the 58-year-old said Real Madrid should have allowed Vinicius to leave the club and consider signing other players.
“I think Real Madrid should have let Vinicius leave. They need to look for other players,” Desailly said.
He added that the club’s attacking partnership between Mbappe and Vinicius remained a concern, stressing that it had yet to prove successful.
“Once again, we are talking about the partnership between Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius. This partnership has not proven successful,” he stated.
