Russia’s Vladimir Bystrov Predicts Scoreline Of Friendly Match Against Nigeria
Former Spartak Moscow winger Vladimir Bystrov has predicted a 3-1 victory for Russia when they face Nigeria in an international friendly on Tuesday.
Bystrov, who previously represented the Russian national team, believes Russia will have enough quality to overcome the Super Eagles in the encounter.
Russia and Nigeria are scheduled to meet at the Sovcombank Arena in Nizhny Novgorod as both sides prepare for the friendly match.
The two countries previously met in an international friendly last year, with Nigeria holding Russia to a 1-1 draw.
Speaking on the latest episode of the YouTube show It’s Football, Brother!, Bystrov predicted that Russia would score three goals against the Super Eagles.
“I think there will be a penalty,” Bystrov said. “These bone-breakers will 100% bring someone down in the penalty area. And the score is 3:1.”

The former Russian international therefore expects his country to secure a 3-1 win, while Nigeria will be hoping to produce another strong performance against Russia and avoid defeat in their latest meeting.
