AC Milan are preparing to offer Samuel Chukwueze a new contract following his impressive start to the 2026/27 season.

The Nigeria international has started all three of Milan’s opening league games and has already provided two assists for the Italian giants.

Chukwueze’s current contract with Milan runs until June 2028, but the club are now considering extending his stay as a reward for his improved performances.

According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Milan are ready to open talks with the winger over a possible contract extension.

The development comes after Chukwueze returned to Milan following a loan spell at Premier League club Fulham last season.

The 27-year-old joined Milan from Spanish side Villarreal in 2023 and has since remained an important attacking option for the club.
