Transfer: Arsenal’s Jesus offered to Atletico Madrid

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has reportedly been offered to Atletico Madrid as the Brazilian looks set to leave the Premier League club this summer.

According to football transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Jesus was offered to Atletico Madrid in recent hours, with the 29-year-old reportedly ready to seek a new challenge away from Arsenal.

Jesus’ current contract with Arsenal runs until 2027, but the club is not expected to renew his deal.

The Brazilian joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022 and has since made 123 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists across competitions.

However, his future at the Emirates appears increasingly uncertain. Arsenal are reportedly keen to part ways with the forward, whose current market value is estimated at €17 million by Transfermarkt.

Jesus was also left out of Arsenal’s matchday squad for their Premier League fixture against Coventry City last week, further raising questions about his position under manager Mikel Arteta.

With Atletico Madrid now reportedly offered the opportunity to sign him, Jesus could be heading for the exit before the summer transfer window closes.
