Transfer: Enzo Fernandez exit clears way for incoming Chelsea midfielder
Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez’s imminent departure is expected to pave the way for Lamine Camara to join the Blues from Monaco.
Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Monaco to sign the 22-year-old Senegalese midfielder for a fee that could rise to €45 million, including bonuses.
Camara’s arrival is expected to help facilitate Fernandez’s move to Manchester City, with the Argentine midfielder reportedly falling out of favour with Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso.
The potential move would see Chelsea strengthen their midfield before the transfer window closes, while Camara would provide Alonso with another young and energetic option in the centre of the pitch.

According to football transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, the deal for Camara is now close to completion, with only the payment schedule left to be finalised.
