Monaco are set to terminate Paul Pogba’s contract, according to Yahoo Sports.

The Ligue 1 club is looking to part ways with the former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder after just one season.

Pogba has reportedly already been informed of Monaco’s plan to end his contract.

The club is expected to negotiate a financial settlement with the 33-year-old and pay any outstanding wages owed to him.

Pogba joined Monaco as a free agent last summer after completing his doping ban and returning to professional football.

However, the World Cup winner struggled with fitness during his first season back.

He made only six appearances for Monaco, playing a total of 105 minutes of football.

The French midfielder previously enjoyed successful spells with Juventus and Manchester United before his career was disrupted by fitness problems and his doping suspension.
