Transfer: Osimhen Reacts To Arsenal Approach After Scoring Twice In Galatasaray’s 2-2 Draw
Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has refused to rule out the possibility of leaving Galatasaray amid reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
Osimhen scored both of Galatasaray’s goals on Friday night as the Turkish champions opened their new Super Lig campaign with a disappointing 2-2 home draw against newly promoted Corum FK.
After the match, Osimhen went over to the Galatasaray supporters behind the goal and apologised for the disappointing result.
The striker’s future at Galatasaray remains uncertain, with Arsenal reportedly exploring the possibility of signing him.
When asked about the reports linking him with Arsenal, Osimhen said:
“There are always rumours during the transfer windows.
“I will focus on my responsibilities. My focus is on my work. We will see and consider what lies ahead then.”
However, Osimhen made it clear that he remains committed to Galatasaray if he stays at the club this summer.
“It is going to be a challenging season. The team is conscious of that.
“I am prepared to give my all for this club. This was a significant wake-up call. It served as a wake-up call for the players as well,” Osimhen said.
