Transfer: Sanusi Set For Saudi Switch To Al-Qadsiah

Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah are reportedly in talks with FC Porto over a possible transfer for Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi.

Porto are said to be demanding €10 million for the Nigerian left-back.

Sanusi has just one year remaining on his current contract with the Portuguese club. Talks over a possible two-year contract extension have reportedly stalled because of disagreements over his salary.

With no agreement reached on a new deal, Porto are reportedly willing to sell the 29-year-old rather than risk losing him for free next summer.

Sanusi has been an important player for Porto since joining the club from Santa Clara in August 2020.

During his time with the Portuguese giants, the Nigerian defender has won eight domestic honours.
