Turkey: ‘Osimhen Is So Selfish’ – Ahmet Dursun Slams Galatasaray Striker
Former Turkish striker Ahmet Dursun has criticised Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen, describing the Nigerian international as selfish and claiming his style of play could harm both himself and his team.
Dursun made the comments while arguing that Beşiktaş striker Dušan Vlahovic is the best forward in the Turkish Super Lig, placing him ahead of Osimhen.
“In my opinion, Vlahovic is by far the league’s best striker,” Dursun said, as quoted by Tivibu Spor.
He went on to criticise Osimhen’s approach to the game, saying, “Osimhen is so selfish, a player who plays for himself.”
Dursun further warned that the Galatasaray forward’s style could have negative consequences, adding, “He’s starting to harm both himself and his team.”
The former striker also praised Vlahovic’s ability to work with teammates, insisting, “Every midfielder would want to play with Vlahovic.”
