Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that the northern part of the country stands firmly with him, saying the bond between the people of the region and the President remains strong.

The governor stated this in a statement on Saturday, released after the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2027 presidential campaign in Kaduna.

He said the event, which he described as historic, affirmed the strength of the APC and its shared resolve to ensure Tinubu’s re-election in the forthcoming general elections.

Sani noted that the number of citizens who came out to welcome the President demonstrated the confidence they have in the Tinubu-led administration, saying the reception was an expression of the strong bond between the president and the people.

“It was a profound honour for Kaduna State to host the historic flag-off of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign, an occasion that affirmed the strength of our party, the cohesion of our leadership and our shared resolve to secure a second term for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

“The presence of governors, party leaders, stakeholders and supporters lent this gathering exceptional significance. Above all, the multitude of citizens who lined the streets from the airport to the stadium to welcome Mr President gave eloquent expression to their confidence in his leadership. Their reception conveyed a message whose meaning was unmistakable: the bond between the President and our people remains strong.” Uba Sani said.

He commended Tinubu for his administration’s interventions in Kaduna and other states in the North West subregion, adding that the north would mobilise to ensure his victory in the 2027 poll.

“Across Kaduna and the wider North-West, the Renewed Hope Agenda finds practical expression in investments in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, transportation and other critical sectors.

“These interventions speak to the everyday concerns of our citizens and the enduring aspirations of our communities. They have strengthened public confidence and deepened our conviction that the progress already achieved must be sustained and consolidated.

“We recognise that continuity carries a responsibility: to build upon these foundations with renewed purpose, sustained commitment and an unwavering focus on the wellbeing of our people. This is the spirit in which we approach the task ahead. Our unity must now find expression in collective endeavour.

“From Kaduna, our message is clear and unequivocal: the North stands firmly with President Tinubu. United in purpose and resolute in conviction, we are prepared to mobilise our people for a decisive victory in January 2027.

“Together, we will work to secure his renewed mandate and advance the promise of a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.” Sani added.
