UCL: Ademola Lookman Scores As Atletico Madrid Beat Man Utd

Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman scored as Atletico Madrid defeated Manchester United 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The defeat adds to the pressure on Michael Carrick, who is experiencing a difficult start as Manchester United’s permanent manager.

Atletico Madrid took the lead just one minute into the match, with Pablo Barrios scoring an early goal to put the Spanish side ahead.

Lookman started the game on the bench but was introduced in the second half as Atletico looked to strengthen their advantage.

The Nigerian international found the net in the 79th minute, reacting quickest to a rebound to tap the ball home and make it 2-0.

The goal sealed an important victory for Diego Simeone’s men, who secured their first win in this season’s Champions League campaign.
