UCL: Toothless, No Running Power – Rio Ferdinand Blasts Man Utd After Como Defeat

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has criticised the Red Devils following their 4-1 defeat to Como in the UEFA Champions League.

Como secured the victory through a brace from Nico Paz and additional goals from Anastasios Douvikas and Jacobo Ramón.

Joshua Zirkzee scored a late consolation goal for Manchester United, managed by Michael Carrick, at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Reacting to the result in a post on X, Ferdinand described his former club as “toothless in attack” and questioned the players’ ability to run against Cesc Fabregas’ side.

“We were toothless in attack, no running power in the team,” Ferdinand wrote.

The former England defender also gave credit to Fabregas and his players for their performance against the Premier League side.
