UCL: Torres Picks Top Four Favourites To Win Trophy This Season

Paris Saint-Germain forward Ferran Torres has named his top four favourites to win the UEFA Champions League trophy this season.

Torres picked his former club Barcelona as one of the main contenders, alongside his current club PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

“Indeed, Barcelona are among the teams considered likely to win the title,” Torres said during a press conference.

“Real Madrid are also competitors, along with Bayern Munich, and so are we [PSG]. It promises to be a huge competition.”

Torres has already made a strong start to the Champions League campaign, scoring a hat-trick as PSG defeated Slovan Bratislava 6-1 at the Parc des Princes.

Barcelona also impressed in their opening game, defeating Feyenoord 5-1 at the Spotify Camp Nou. Raphinha scored twice, while Lamine Yamal, Karim Adeyemi and Gabriel Jesus were also on target.

Real Madrid, however, had a tougher outing but secured a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan, while Bayern Munich produced a dominant performance, beating Bodo/Glimt 5-0 at the Allianz Arena.
