Ancelotti returns to Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has returned to the club’s training complex in Valdebebas ahead of their LaLiga clash with Real Betis on Saturday.

Ancelotti, who is currently the head coach of Brazil, took advantage of a few days off to visit his former club and attend a training session with the Real Madrid squad.

The Italian manager reunited with several of his old friends at the club and spent time speaking with his former players. He also paid particular attention to the fitness of Real Madrid’s Brazilian players.

Ancelotti took photos with several members of the squad, including current manager Jose Mourinho and some of the club’s new signings, such as Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella.

He also spent time talking with Mourinho during the visit, as the two managers reunited at the club’s training ground.

Ancelotti enjoyed a highly successful spell at Real Madrid before taking charge of Brazil. He is expected to announce his squad for Brazil’s upcoming matches next week.

The visit allowed the experienced manager to reconnect with his former club while keeping an eye on the condition of the Brazilian players ahead of his next international assignment.
