Cristiano Ronaldo Returns To Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Madrid after leaving the Portugal national team camp on Wednesday.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed the development in a post on X, stating that the Al-Nassr forward had returned to the Spanish capital.
Ronaldo reportedly landed in Madrid at around 2 a.m. local time after officially withdrawing from Portugal’s squad.
The decision came after Ronaldo held discussions with Pedro Proença, the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, before leaving the national team camp.
As a result of his departure, Ronaldo will not feature for Portugal in their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against Denmark and Norway.
The 41-year-old had featured against Wales, where one of his goals was ruled out. He was also an unused substitute during Portugal’s recent victory over Norway.
