EPL: He’s strong – Cole Palmer names Premier League’s best player

Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has named Manchester City striker Erling Haaland as the best player in the Premier League, praising the Norwegian’s strength and consistent goalscoring ability.

Palmer made the remarks during an interview with Sky Sports ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Sunderland on Sunday.

When asked to identify the best player in the English top flight, the England international singled out Haaland, highlighting his physical strength and ability to find the back of the net regularly.

“Haaland. He’s very strong,” Palmer said.

He further pointed to Haaland’s performances on the international stage, noting that the Manchester City striker continued scoring goals for Norway, including at the World Cup.

“Even at the World Cup, he scored for Norway. He always scores, and… yeah, that’s why,” Palmer added.

Haaland has continued to attract attention for his goalscoring performances since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.
