LaLiga: Mourinho Opens Up On Working With Mbappe At Real Madrid
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has praised Kylian Mbappe for his commitment and determination ahead of their first season working together.
Mbappe was initially scheduled to return for pre-season training on August 14 after representing France at the 2026 World Cup.

However, Mourinho revealed that the France captain returned to the club two days earlier than expected because he wanted to be ready for the team’s friendly against Schalke 04.
Mbappe featured in the match and opened the scoring for Real Madrid against the German side.
Mourinho said he was impressed by the forward’s attitude and work ethic.
“After the World Cup, Mbappe could have arrived on August 14.
“But he came on the 12th because he wanted to be ready to play against Schalke.
“I like that. He trains hard, with the same commitment and desire I want to see,” Mourinho told Chiringuito.
