Nations League: Jorge Jesus Reveals When Next Ronaldo Will Play For Portugal
Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will be considered for the team’s next international break, but the final decision will depend on the veteran forward.
Jesus spoke to reporters after Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Norway in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday.
According to the Portugal manager, Ronaldo will be called up again if he decides that he wants to continue representing his country.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will be called up for the next international break, if he wants to return,” Jesus said.
The coach stressed that the decision ultimately belongs to Ronaldo and that he remains ready to include the 41-year-old in the squad.
“It’s his decision. I am ready to call him if he will play with Al Nassr,” Jesus added.
