Police Arrest Three Over Alleged Murder Of Man In Adamawa Village

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three young men over the alleged beating to death of a 50-year-old man, Ibrahim Muhammad, in Kadarbu village, Fufore Local Government Area of the state.

The incident reportedly occurred at about 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after the Mai Unguwar Kadarbu reported that some individuals had attacked Muhammad at his residence and beaten him to death.

The police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, disclosed the arrests in a statement.

According to the Command, the suspects were identified as Ibrahim Ahmadu, 30; Buba Bala, 22; and Yahaya Bala, 20.

The police said the suspects allegedly confessed to taking part in the attack and told investigators that they carried it out alongside two other individuals who are currently at large.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Yola for further investigation.
