Rudeboy Reveals Why He Can’t Forgive Twin Brother

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has opened up about the ongoing rift between him and his twin brother, Peter Okoye, saying their issues go far beyond music.

Speaking in an interview, Rudeboy said the disagreement deeply hurt him and destroyed the trust they once shared as brothers.

According to him, the problem is not just about their former music group, P-Square, but also about family, trust and personal issues.

He said the experience has been difficult to move past, adding that some actions leave lasting emotional wounds even when people try to reconcile.

Rudeboy explained that he has remained silent on several occasions because he wanted to protect his family’s reputation and avoid creating more controversy.

He also acknowledged that many fans still hope to see P-Square reunite, but said people may not understand the personal pain behind their public disagreements.

According to the singer, rebuilding their relationship would take more than public appeals for peace because the issue involves broken trust and deep personal feelings.

Rudeboy said he is now focused on raising his children, growing personally and advancing his music career while protecting his peace of mind.

“I don’t think I can forgive my twin brother. What happened is something I never expected from my own blood. The problem is not music. It’s deeper than that. It’s about family, trust and betrayal. I have remained silent on several occasions in the past to protect the family’s image. Some actions leave permanent scars. Peace of mind now takes priority over everything else,” he said.
