Serie A: Okoye Reflects On Udinese’s Defeat Against Inter Milan

Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has admitted that Inter Milan deserved their victory over his team in Monday night’s Serie A clash.

The defending champions came from two goals down to defeat Udinese 5-3 in a thrilling encounter at the San Siro.

Okoye produced several impressive saves during the match, but his efforts were not enough to prevent Inter from securing all three points.

The Nigeria international acknowledged that Inter were too strong for Udinese, especially at their home ground.

“It’s always difficult against Inter at San Siro. They play very attacking, they don’t stop even after scoring three or four goals.”

“We also had our chances, but they are too strong,” Okoye told the club’s official website.

Udinese currently sit 13th in the Serie A table with four points from four matches and will look to return to winning ways when they host Cagliari at the Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday.
