Transfer: Barcelona Battle Arsenal, Chelsea For Italian-Nigerian Midfielder Ejodamen

Barcelona have joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Italian-Nigerian midfielder Justin Ehikioya Ejodamen, who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund’s youth team.

The 15-year-old has attracted attention with his performances for Dortmund’s Under-16 side and Italy’s youth teams, drawing interest from several major European clubs.

Born in Germany to Nigerian parents, Ejodamen is eligible to represent Italy, Nigeria and Germany at senior international level. He currently plays for Italy at youth level.

According to Sport, Barcelona have repeatedly sent scouts to monitor his development during matches for Dortmund’s U16 team and the Italian youth side.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the young midfielder, while Juventus has emerged as another club keeping track of his progress.

However, Borussia Dortmund are keen to retain Ejodamen as they continue developing one of their promising young talents.
