Transfer: Chelsea Set Friday Deadline For Man City To Complete Enzo Fernandez Deal
Chelsea have reportedly given Manchester City until 5pm on Friday to make an offer for midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
Manchester City are interested in signing the Argentina international, who has a strong relationship with Enzo Maresca from their time together at Chelsea.
Maresca, who has replaced Pep Guardiola as Manchester City manager, is reportedly keen to reunite with Fernandez at the Etihad.
However, Chelsea have placed a £120 million valuation on the midfielder. Fernandez still has six years remaining on his current contract with the Blues.
Chelsea have made it clear that if Manchester City fail to meet their asking price by the deadline, they will not consider selling Fernandez during the current transfer window.
