Transfer: He Made Right Choice To Snub Arsenal – Maresca On Man City’s Recruit
Manchester City manager, Enzo Maresca, has said the club’s new recruit, Jeremy Monga, made the right decision by turning down Arsenal to join the Cityzens.
Monga recently snubbed Arsenal to complete a move to Manchester City from Leicester City.
The 17-year-old attacker had attracted interest from both Arsenal and Manchester City during the summer transfer window before deciding to join the Premier League giants.
Speaking about Monga’s decision to choose Manchester City over Arsenal, Maresca praised the club’s structure and development over the past decade.

According to him, the progress made by Manchester City in the last 10 to 15 years has made the club an attractive destination for young players looking to develop their careers.
Maresca said, as quoted by City Xtra on X, “What the club and organisation have made in the last 10, 15 years is unbelievable.
“So it’s also, for the young generation or young players, a good reason to join this club. And I think Jeremy made the right choice.”
Monga will now hope to earn more regular playing time under Maresca and continue his development when the new season begins.
