UCL: ‘They Have Fantastic Striker’ – Barça Boss Hansi Flick Hails Osimhen Ahead Of Galatasaray Clash

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Galatasaray on Tuesday. Flick acknowledged the Nigerian forward’s quality as Barcelona prepare for a difficult encounter in Turkey.

Osimhen has been in impressive form for the Turkish Süper Lig champions this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in five league appearances. The striker recently returned from injury and further demonstrated his importance by providing an assist in Galatasaray’s 3-1 victory over Kasimpasa.

Speaking after Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Getafe on Saturday, Flick highlighted Galatasaray’s strength and warned his players to prepare for the atmosphere at Rams Park.

“We will face Galatasaray on Tuesday,” Flick said, according to Fotomac. “We’ll be playing in the world’s loudest stadium. We need to prepare for that.”

The Barcelona manager added that the Champions League presents a different level of competition, stressing that his team must be ready for the challenge. “Every team in the Champions League is very good,” he said.

Flick also singled out Osimhen for praise, saying: “Galatasaray have a fantastic striker like Osimhen. They really have a great squad. We need to be ready for this match. We must play our best football against Galatasaray.”

Osimhen is expected to feature in Galatasaray’s starting line-up, having last started a match in September’s 3-2 victory over Istanbul Başakşehir. His return to the team is expected to provide an attacking boost as the Turkish side prepare to face Barcelona.
