I’ve Tried To Make Peace With Him – Skales Speaks On Feud With Wizkid

Nigerian singer Skales has spoken about his long-standing disagreement with fellow music star Wizkid, revealing that he has made several attempts to settle their differences.

The singer made this known during an interview with Osi Suave, where he explained how the disagreement started.

According to Skales, the issue began during a question-and-answer session he organised on Twitter. During the session, a user asked him about Wizkid, prompting him to respond that the singer no longer had his attention.

Skales said the comment went viral and apparently did not sit well with Wizkid.

The ‘Shake Body’ crooner also recalled an incident in which Wizkid allegedly insulted his parents and accused him of wearing fake jewellery on Twitter. He explained that his former girlfriend used his account to respond to the comments.

Skales further disclosed that Wizkid was supposed to appear in the music video for his song ‘Mukulu’, but informed him that he could not attend because of a flat tyre.

Speaking during the interview over the weekend, he said:

“I was doing question and answering (Q&A) on Twitter when someone asked me about Wizkid and I said ‘Wizkid no get my time again’ and before I knew it that tweet was going viral I think Wizkid didn’t like me.

“When he was insulting my mom and dad and saying I wore fake jewelry on Twitter, it was my ex-girlfriend who used my account to reply him. I’ve tried to make peace with him. He was supposed to be in my ‘Mukulu’ video, but he told me he had a flat tire and couldn’t make it.”
