NPFL: Shooting Stars End Winless Run With Victory Over Ranchers Bees

Shooting Stars ended their five-match winless run in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Ranchers Bees.

The important result eased the pressure on technical adviser Salisu Yusuf, as the Oluyole Warriors secured their first league victory in five matches.

Shooting Stars opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Desmond Ojietefian, giving the home side an early advantage.

Ranchers Bees fought back seven minutes before half-time, with Isah Ndala Aliyu finding the net to restore parity and make it 1-1.

However, Damilola Akinola put Shooting Stars back in front late in the first half, ensuring the hosts regained their lead before the break.

Qamar Adegoke sealed the victory by scoring the third goal 19 minutes from time, confirming all three points for the Oluyole Warriors.
