Transfer: Arsenal In Shock Move To Sign Romero From Tottenham

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero in a surprise transfer move this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions have already held talks with Romero’s representatives to explore the possibility of bringing the Argentina international to the Emirates.

Tottenham are aware of Arsenal’s interest but are unwilling to sell the 28-year-old to their North London rivals. Instead, Spurs would prefer to transfer Romero to a club outside England.

Atletico Madrid are currently considered the favourites to sign the defender.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are also in the race after reportedly agreeing a £34 million transfer fee with Tottenham. However, the Italian club has yet to reach an agreement with Romero over personal terms.
