AFCON 2027: Madagascar Storm Uyo For Super Eagles Battle
Madagascar’s national team, the Barea, have arrived in Uyo ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash with Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The 28-man delegation, comprising players and officials, arrived at Victor Attah International Airport at 2:05 p.m. on Monday.
After completing the necessary immigration procedures, the delegation headed to their hotel to settle down and begin preparations for the important encounter.
More members of the Madagascar squad are expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday as the team continues its preparations.
Madagascar will face Nigeria in their Matchday 1 fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Friday.
The Barea will be looking to begin their AFCON qualifying campaign with a positive result when they take on the Super Eagles on Nigerian soil.
